This complete, high-quality filter kit is fully compatible with the Aquaguard Magna HD RO+UV system for servicing and replacement. Manufactured by Aquadyne, it matches original performance and fit. Install with confidence using our guidance.
Filtration Stages
- First: Sediment Filter (Clarity / iFilter equivalent), 10-inch – Premium polypropylene melt-blown spun fabric captures sand, silt, rust, algae, and other particulates from feed water.
- Second: Carbon Filter (Single-Sided, Custom Design), 8-inch – Fully packed premium activated carbon with high iodine value of 1200–1400 IV for maximum absorption. Removes chlorine, chloramines, fluorides, and chemical contaminants. Inlet and outlet on the same side, specifically engineered for Aquaguard Magna models.
- Third: RO Membrane (75 GPD TFC), 8-inch – Thin-film composite food-grade polyamide membrane acts as a precise sieve. Under RO pump pressure, it removes harmful chemicals, heavy metals, salts, and microorganisms, delivering distilled-quality water. Pressure-sealed for reliability; ideal for Aquaguard Magna HD RO.
- Fourth: Mineral Cartridge, 4-inch – Copper- and zinc-impregnated to restore essential minerals, raise pH, and impart a sweet, soothing taste to the purified water.
Additional Components
- 8-inch Philips or Osram UV tube for direct replacement in the UV chamber
- Ancillary items: 9 elbows, flow restrictor (FR), 4–5 meters of piping, and 4 anti-scalant balls
