Filtration Stages
- First: Sediment Filter (Clarity Cartridge equivalent),10-inch – Premium polypropylene melt-blown spun fabric captures sand, silt, rust, algae, and other particulate impurities from feed water.
- Second: Carbon Filter (Single-Sided Design), 8 inches – Fully packed premium activated carbon with high iodine value of 1200–1400 IV for superior absorption. Removes chlorine, chloramines, fluorides, and chemical contaminants. Inlet and outlet on the same side, specifically tailored for Aquaguard Superb models.
- Third: Nano Reverse Osmosis Membrane (75 GPD), 8 inches – Thin-film composite (TFC) food-grade polyamide membrane functions as a precise sieve. Under RO pump pressure, it removes harmful chemicals, heavy metals, salts, and microorganisms, producing distilled-quality water. Pressure-sealed for reliability; ideal for Aquaguard Superb RO.
- Fourth: Mineral Cartridge,4-inch – Copper- and zinc-impregnated to restore essential minerals, raise pH, and impart a sweet, soothing taste to the purified water.
- Fifth: Ultra-Filtration Membrane, 4-inch– Removes biological contaminants including viruses, bacteria, and microorganisms for added safety.
- 8 inch UV Germicidal Lamp Philips/Osram
